Structural design studies for the new University campus of ENS Cachan

The Ecole Normale Supérieure in Cachan (E.N.S. Cachan), created in 1912, will move to its new location on the plateau of Saclay (scheduled for 2019).

The project is quite emblematic insofar as it is signed by architect Renzo Piano and awarded as a BIM d’Or (Building Information Modeling) project in 2015. The works will be carried out by Campenon Bernard Construction (Vinci).

It is with some emotion that Computer Control Systems is participating in this project alongside CBC (the Director of our Design office spent 4 years in this scientific institution preparing his PhD).

We are responsible for the execution studies of the steel structures of the buildings 6 (reception), 7 (amphitheater with 500 seats) and 8 (hall with retractable bleachers) as well as the connecting bridges with the other buildings of the new campus.
